The other day in the territory of the Republic of Dagestan, a large channel for transporting and selling fish, which belongs to the sturgeon species, was illegally obtained.

It is reported that the damage that was caused to the biological resources of the Russian Federation as a result of unauthorized fishing on an industrial scale amounts to about fifty-two million three hundred thousand rubles.

According to participants in the canal blocking, border guards stopped a suspicious Gazelle car near the village of Talovka, which is located in the Tarumovsky district of the Republic of Dagestan.

The interior, trunk and other components of the vehicles were subjected to a thorough search. As a result of the search with addiction, it turned out that the Gazelle’s body is equipped with hiding places.

They at the time of the search contained various species of fish of the sturgeon family with a total weight of more than one ton.

The suspects were taken into custody, and today authorized officials are solving the issue of instituting criminal proceedings on the basis of the fact of illegal fishing and criminal trafficking in aquatic biological resources that are included in the Red Book list and protected by international treaties of the Russian Federation.
