Saving time is now in the first place and for many this is an urgent issue. Being a gardener and having a whole balcony of seedlings, you think about expanding or reconsider your views on planting in search of new ways of growing.
For a long time in gardening began to apply more profitable methods of growing seedlings. This helps to save planting material, time and space. To get marigold seedlings without the use of land will require less effort, but at the same time, the effect will be no worse than the usual method.
What is needed for this:
- Plastic bag.
- Toilet paper.
- Marigold Seeds.
- Water for wetting.
- Capacity to accommodate the package.
Famous seasoning is prepared from marigolds - Imereti saffron. In taste, it is not inferior to real saffron (from crocuses), but more affordable.
Instructions for using the method
In order to test this method of growing marigolds without problems, you need to do several steps:
- Cut a plastic bag 10-15 cm wide of arbitrary length.
- On the top of the bag, place pieces of toilet paper, preferably in several layers. Moisten it.
- Having indented from the top 1 cm, spread the flower seeds in a row, also keeping a distance of 2-3 cm.
- Cover the laid out seeds with another layer of paper and a bag.
- Turn the finished device for growing seedlings into a snail.
- Pour water into the prepared container, about 3-4 cm and insert the cochlea with the seeds up.
- Put a cup with seeds in a warm place and do not forget to change the water.
- About a week later you will see the first sprouts, and after two - a green bunch.
You can plant seedlings when a couple of leaves appear. After the cochlea, sprouts are sent to the greenhouse to grow and grow stronger. When unfolding, you can notice how long the roots have become, by them, by the way, you can also determine the state of seedlings. The paper that has been wetted will become wet, together with it and planted in the ground.
This method is not bad and is often used. Its advantage is that a black leg does not appear on seedlings, such a device saves time and space, and it is also possible to prepare the ground for seedling boxes in advance.
Decoctions and infusions from marigolds are used to treat a number of diseases. They are effective for the treatment of kidney disease, arthritis, gout, and are also able to relieve headaches and toothaches.
Sown flower beds of marigolds perfectly complement the composition and decorate the home area. Each of the marigolds stands out: it has a different shape, size and color, from lemon yellow to red brown. This plant is used not only as a decor in the garden, but also as protection for other plants.
Each flower cell contains volatile, which help repel pests. Also, marigolds are often used in medicine and cooking as a spice.
