The government of the Leningrad Region provided substantial support to producers of agricultural companies in the region, generously funding leading workers in various agro-industrial sectors.
In particular, Alexander Drozdenko, who heads the regional administration of the Leningrad region, noted that the amount of material assistance to the promising and productive regional is a total of seven billion rubles.
The governor of the northern capital region proudly shared such information during the large-scale exposition “All-Russian Field Day”, which this year is held on the territory of the Leningrad Region.
Drozdenko also emphasized that five and a half billion rubles, which are included in the above amount of support, were allocated from the regional budget.
It will not be superfluous to note that the authorities of the Leningrad region intend to compensate for about thirty percent of the costs of local farmers for the purchase of tractors. Compensation of expenses for the purchase of other agricultural special equipment will be about forty percent.
It is noteworthy that farmers in the region have the opportunity to become recipients of additional state subsidies for the purchase of those models of special equipment that are exhibited at the All-Russian Field Day exhibition in 2019.
