A herd of 100 domestic pigs has been terrorizing the village of Kizlovka in the Poltava region for a month now.
Peasants are powerless against the invasion of glutton. Due to the conflict with the farmer, they were released from his barn by the owner of the premises from which the farmer rented a place for pigs.
About 20 animals remained closed, and the rest fled. After a free life, animals went wild and became aggressive. Villagers complain that they are already rushing at people.
At night, pigs feed in the gardens, and during the day the older generation rests. Young growth runs around the village. To escape from the heat, the animals blew up the water tower, where they drink water and arrange their own water procedures.
The owner of the barn, Alexei Barsuk, assures that he did not let out animals and blames the owner of the animals, Yuri Zub, for everything. In the barn, the animals were kept in inappropriate conditions. They never cleaned and fed animals once every few days.
The owner refuses to catch animals and assures that he suffered greater losses than the peasants, because the animals ran away from him. To resolve the situation, acting village head Anatoly Kolot turned to the police and the State Food and Beverage Service.
Gosprodpotrebzhuyu advised to create a communal enterprise that will catch animals and equip them with a place and feeding for the period of quarantine storage (over 30 days). The village has no funds for this.
Anatoly Sivan, the head of the Chernukhinsky district department of the State Food and Beverage Service, accidentally met the owner of the animals, and he said that he would catch them if the owner of the premises gave him the barn.
The owner of the animals also wrote statements to the peasants as if they were stealing pigs. The regional State Food and Consumer Service filed a lawsuit to ban the farmer from carrying out agricultural activities. However, this will not affect the capture of pigs.
