The owner of the Kharkov Tractor Plant (KhTZ) Alexander Yaroslavsky was included in the rating of the richest people in Ukraine by the magazine Focus.
The aforementioned magazine published the 13th rating of the richest people in Ukraine. The list includes not only citizens of Ukraine, but also expats who have earned their fixed capital on its territory.
Entrepreneur Alexander Yaroslavsky, who is the president of the DCH group, is located on the 14th place of the rating with a fortune of $ 680 million. Recall that in 2018 Yaroslavsky was on the 9th line of the rating with a capital of $ 646 million.After the purchase of the Kharkov Tractor Plant in January 2017 by Alexander Yaroslavsky, the enterprise showed positive dynamics. After a long downtime, the plant ended the year with a profit of 48.8 million UAH from the sale of 794 units of equipment. In 2018, the production of tractors amounted to 900 units.
Recently, Alexander Yaroslavsky has been busy buying assets that have fallen in price amid the crisis in 2014-2015. So, recently he purchased from Roman Abramovich Ukrainian capacities of the Evraz group of the Sukhaya Balka mine and the Dnieper Metallurgical Plant (DMZ). For these purchases, he paid Abramovich $ 106 and 108 million, respectively.
