Selection and preparation of ingredients
Potato for frying is better to choose an oblong shape, so that inside it is a yellowish tint. Tubers must be peeled, washed and chopped according to a recipe or personal preference.
You can take any mushrooms - dried, pickled, fresh, cultivated or forest. If the choice fell on dried, they need to be washed and pour cold water for about an hour. Then, if necessary, wash again and squeeze out the excess liquid. Pickled need to be washed and discarded in a colander.
Important! You need to salt the fried potatoes after acquiring a golden crust, otherwise it will not be.
Forest peel, wash, some types of forest mushrooms require additional heat treatment, such as autumn mushrooms. To do this, they are cleaned, washed, boiled in salted water for 15-20 minutes. The resulting broth is poured (you can not use it for cooking any dishes), the workpiece is washed, poured with cold water and boiled for another 10 minutes. and only then use according to the recipe.

You can fry potatoes with mushrooms in two ways: prepare the ingredients individually or together. In the first case, the potato will turn out with a crust, in the second - more like a stew, but much more flavorful.

- Pass the garlic through the press.
- Pour oil into the pan when it warms up, put the potatoes.
- Fry over medium heat until golden brown.
- Add mushrooms, stirring to cook for another 10 minutes, salt, add garlic.
- Pour the sour cream, simmer over low heat until the potatoes are ready (you can cover with a lid if desired).
- Add greens and pepper at the end.
Important! Frozen mushrooms should be allowed to stand for a short time, not allowing complete thawing - it will be easier to cut them.

- Switch the slow cooker to the "Extinguishing" mode, set the timer for 40 minutes.
- Sprinkle with herbs before serving.
