The export volume of Ukrainian garlic in recent years has been increasing, but in 2019, a fire occurred in the processing enterprises and warehouses of the industrial producer and exporter Agro Patriot.

Natalya Sudarkina, CEO of Agro Patriot, a Ukrainian garlic exporter, said Ukraine continues to increase the area on which garlic is grown every year.

The main reason for this is the lack of long-term storage of garlic in Ukraine. Therefore, the main sale and export of garlic in Ukraine lasts only from August to November, ”she said.

This year was not easy for Ukrainian producers, as a lot of garlic was smaller in size than usual. However, the company can still use this garlic.

Garlic is a natural repellent. Its smell will repel mosquitoes.

Direct speech: “This is an excellent raw material for processing. Therefore, we initiated a recycling program. Our products include dried garlic, peeled garlic cloves, and high-quality frozen IQF garlic cloves. About 1000 tons of garlic are stored in our warehouse, ”Sudarkina said.

Unfortunately, a fire recently broke out at the warehouse of the Agro Patriot processing plant, and the company lost these important facilities. The company has created a way to donate people.
