The Agroseton company from the Lviv region plans to increase the sown area under crops to 10 thousand hectares next year, according to the chief agronomist of the enterprise, Yuri Kulik.
Today, the company processes 5.03 thousand ha.
This year, Agroseton cultivates winter wheat, winter rape, buckwheat and sunflower. The company plans to introduce peas, soybeans and corn into the crop rotation. For information, Agroseton was established in 2016 thanks to Turkish investments.Earlier it was reported that the Turkish side shows great interest in the import of Ukrainian organic agricultural products. The cultivation of organic crops and is going to do "Agroseton." In 2018, the company already had experience in the cultivation of organic winter wheat.
The culture was grown without mineral fertilizers and was not protected by chemical means. The result was a modest yield of 1.5 t / ha, while under normal conditions it averages 9.5 t / ha. But the company's employees do not lose optimism and plan to continue experiments on growing organic crops for the Turkish market.Share
