The estimated cereal yield in the current year in the Russian Federation has changed again. We are talking about reducing to one hundred twenty million two hundred tons.

Such information was shared by representatives of the Institute for Agricultural Market Studies.

According to ICAR experts, the wheat crop will not be equal to the previously declared seventy-seven million four hundred thousand tons. Analysts predict a figure of seventy-six million one hundred thousand tons of wheat.

It is also important to note that employees of the institute predict a decline in export performance. So, according to researchers of the domestic agricultural sector, in the 2019-2020 season, the volume of external grain shipments will amount to about forty-two million five hundred thousand tons. The share of wheat in this volume will be approximately thirty-three million two hundred thousand tons.

It is noteworthy that earlier in IKAR the volume of grain exports was predicted to be forty-three and a half million tons, where the share of wheat could be thirty-four million three hundred thousand tons.

It is not superfluous to add that over the past week, analysts at the Institute for Agricultural Market Studies changed grain forecasts three times in the current season, based on low yields.
