March 21 this year, the Vinnitsa City Council received a petition requesting a ban on the sale of homemade milk in plastic containers.
The author of the petition writes that plastic bottles enter the market from janitors who find them in a landfill. If the bottle is from Pepsi, then the milk still has a taste of the primary product. This suggests that the container is not washed, but only rinsed. But besides taste, it can contain microbes of the one who drank from the neck.
The author of the petition itself does not consume milk, since it does not trust any of its producers. But he cannot buy a home-made product, no matter how good he is, since a bottle from a landfill crosses out all its advantages. And there are very few housewives who would sell milk at banks.
The author suggests banning the sale of milk in plastic containers at least for the duration of the epidemic. Earlier it was reported that residents of Vinnitsa are asking to ban the sale of products in plastic bags. The author of the petition proposed replacing plastic bags with paper and fabric. The petition collected the number of votes necessary for consideration for 1 day out of 14 allocated for voting.
