The administration of the Petrovsky pig farm, which is based in the Omsk Region, has decided to renew the gene pool of its livestock.

Therefore, thirteen pigs arrived at the Siberian production site the other day. We are talking about breeding animals of elite breeds - Yorkshire, Duroc and Landras, which are endowed with excellent genetic potential.

It is noteworthy that all boars were grown by the forces of Voronezh livestock breeders. They were "raised" specifically for reproduction on an industrial scale in the conditions of domestic pig farming.

It should be noted that the Voronezh breeding center Agroeko, which specializes in the production of luxury genetic material for the pig industry, should be thanked for such wonderful boars.

It is noteworthy that this center works closely with Genesus, a Canadian company with great authority among livestock breeders from different countries.

It is important to add that from the Voronezh region to Siberian open spaces elite boars rode in the comfortable conditions of a special vehicle that was designed specifically for such transportation. Note that each seedling weighs at least one hundred and fifty-five kilograms.

Landras pig breed

Boars are now in quarantine. However, in a month they will be transferred from the station to artificial insemination, where the main activity of the Voronezh “migrants” starts.
