Based on the information that the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation shared with the public, it can be said that the Penza region is literally leaping up the pace of livestock production.

According to data released by the agency, citing information from Penzastat, over the past six months, over one hundred and eighty-four thousand tons of meat of farm animals and poultry, as well as livestock, have been produced on the territory of all farming facilities in the region.

It is noteworthy that this indicator is twenty-four and a half percent higher than the volume of production, which was recorded in the same period last year.

It is also important to add that over six months, cattle breeding on the basis of agricultural organizations, and also nineteen percent on the basis of peasant farm facilities and in the assets of individual entrepreneurs, increased substantially - by almost twenty-seven percent.

Between January and June 2019, Penza breeders produced over one hundred seventy two and a half thousand tons of milk, which increased the indicators of individual entrepreneurs and peasant farms by eight and a half percent since the beginning of this year.
