British mechanics invented a cultivator that leaves no chance for weeds to survive.
It all started with an ordinary startup ... Andy Diprouse, a tech-loving researcher, once organized a team of like-minded people, gave her the name RootWave and devoted all his efforts to developing a device that would enter the weed control path.
- Around the world, weeds in fields, gardens, etc. used to destroy either with a chopper or with chemistry, says Andy. - In particular, special pesticides that destroy unwanted plants are increasingly used against weeds in European countries. However, at the same time, they extremely negatively affect the environment, cause diseases - not only in plants, but also in animals and people.
Deeprose and his friends pondered for a long time how to deal with weeds effectively and as safely as possible. And they came to the conclusion that the current will be the best assistant here.
In the process of working on a unique method of struggle, Andy and his associates created a manual cultivator for park areas, gardens and groves. It was then that it dawned on the guys that if the cultivator would produce electrical impulses, weed control would be much easier.
The guys designed this idea as a stratap and soon received 1.3 million euros as a grant for the implementation of their ideas. As a result, a device appeared that was installed on agricultural machinery. In particular, on a tractor. Moving across the field, the tractor starts an electric discharge through the cultivator. As a result of this “electric shock”, weeds die, losing viability from the tips to the roots. The main thing is that the height of the weed plant is at least five centimeters.
Today, Andy Deeprose and his team are interested in helping investors to put the production of their miracle cultivator on a grand scale. The British are confident that their offspring will go on sale worldwide in a couple of years.
